A patient who has just bled three or four liters, probably not going to be immediately ready for diuresis. A lot of these people may do better, as, as Marie Louise said, with diureses. There are patients that will give diuresis interpartum. Many times, patients will require some diuresis the first 12 to 24 hours postpartum if they require it. Using your clinical exam throughout is very important.
