I joined the project to help document what's happening at an oil spill site. Is there a structured way of collecting data, or can everybody just make whatever kinds of observations they'd like? The key thing we do have always is we have an initial categorization. When you create a point, you can select the icon that will define it as that category. It can be configured with your own categorization and your own set of questions for each category.
