Is It a Good Idea to Run a Credit Check?

I'd be interested in knowing from New York what other people are seeing in terms of how it's being applied. A lifelong Manhattan woman that I met at a polyface event said the reinstatement of workers with back pay would just hurt small businesses who could not afford to pay back wages and rehire. That is a very interesting comment particularly because in New York they'll let all the big corporations ignore the reinstatement they won't enforce it. So the big guys can get away with doing nothing and the small guys can get killed on it.
