Command and Control - Is That the Beginning of the Paradime?

In retailing and fast food restaurants, haven't they almost always sought to exploit rather than honor their front line employees? You knoww, i think a lot of management does have echoes of military. And so i think perhaps this was a perception of how a good military organization works. The morfed over into business 50 years ago, or 75 years ago,. It hasn't caught up with where the military is to day. But it's handy, in some sense, for senior management.
