You just have to be committed to creating that emotional stability and put in the work to communicate with authenticity and kindness within your family. It's one of the reasons why i am do the work around break ups that i do, is because i think learning how to break up well when that is what's needed, is just as important as anything else. You may want to talk with your non coparent partners about how much involvement you and their other parents are comfortable with them having with your kids. Another challenge you may run into around boundaries if you are in partnership with your co parent is if you both dating and you live together, you're going to have to negotiate child care.
