There are lots of different applications of this technology and it ranges massively. You will find some commercial brain computer interfaces already available to help with rehabilitation, particularly after stroke. But if we want to be using this reliably as an assistive technology for people who don't have other ways of interacting with the world, you can't just pop into the supermarket and use it in your daily activity yet.
