The City of New York Will Not Deposit Anymore Money With Capital One and Key Bank
Five banks have failed to comply with the designation process and the controller has voted against allowing them to receive additional deposits. The city of New York will not be depositing any more money with these two banks. I think Capital One, 7.2 million in a key bank, 10 million, can easily withstand this. But think about the pressure. And we should all consider banking with Capital One and key bank, just for the audaciousness and the courage and their willingness to stand up to the city of New Yorkers.
