Lois's report is about a system of incentive set up for youtube stars that pushes those stars toward extremist content. Louis took a deep dive on 81 influential youtube channels, all the way from middle of the road centrist conservatives to whites premises. One thing that became so fascinating and troubling to me throughout my research was actually that it is impossible to know from the outside whether they genuinely believe what they're espousing or if it's kind of a strategic play for more viewership.
