The Dream of a Young Man
Winston had a dream in which his mother and sister died. He could not remember what had happened, but he knew that their lives had been sacrificed to his own. Tragedy belonged to the ancient time when family stood by one another without needing to know the reason. Today there was fear, hatred, and pain with no dignity of emotion or deep or complex sorrows.
