During the Cold War India was very close with the Soviet Union doing large amounts of trade and buying almost all their arms from Moscow. How are relations between Moscow and New Delhi today? I would say it's about one quarter of what it was during the Cold War in other words. Russia is on its feet economically and continues to be an important producer of arms, says Ravi Agrawal.
