Transition to Unstructured Data
The transition to working with unstructured data and especially images was a huge challenge. Building the data sets for evaluation and for testing was probably the biggest effort in every project much more than the modeling itself. This is even separate from the medical domain which you can see a medical image and have no clue what you've seen right so even the domain understanding is is a tricky here but from a technical perspective I think this is a very nascent field still.
