Bit coin is a property right that's you can force yourself, ye enforced by the network. Not only does it not require enforcement by the government, but is completely independent of the government. Because it disappears with your death, then any hostile actor always has an incentive to negotiate with you. And because you can take custody of it, you don't need am to rely upon this all or nothing principle.
