Blaming people never makes them more honest. That is not how punishment works. Rescues rarely have depth of understanding and information, but they have what's in front of them. So now they're looking at a dog and they're falling in love because one of the things I will say about people who are involved in rescue, they have a higher than average percentage of people who want to save them, save them.
