The True Light Came. And Why Did They Not Come?
Calvinist talk is true, but are they true universally of all people from birth? Or are they true in the context of what john is actually addressing here. Listen, a man from from god, sent by god, whose name john john the baptist, the forerunner to christ. He came as a witness to testify about the light, that is to say, the light came. The darkness didn't comprehend it. And why did they not comprehend it? Because they closed their eyes willingly and by their own volition or because they were born without eyes.
