Cane Toads and a Natural History Like Did Not Get the Awards It Needed

Scientists are trying to teach predators not to eat poisonous toads. They use the concept of conditioned taste aversion, which basically takes you back to like the last time you had food poisoning. So they give a predator a little sausage laced with lithium chloride and it's like, okay, I'm avoiding toads forever. It's not anything that tastes like a toad. It's really smooth. Put me off the toad diet.
