Ridon, He Was Committed to the Very End
Ridon was on the top of our list when we decided to go back to syria. He's very thoughtful, very articulate, very deliberate in kind of what he believes his role in the isis was why he joined. There's no sign of regret there at all. The thing that struck me was, did he think about consequences? You know, did criminal code provisions have anything to do with whether or not he thought about his choices? And he said, no, ut he felt he had obligation. We talked about where he thought he would face criminal justice and it wouldn't be in canada because he didn't want his wife and children to be able to join him there
