The Effect of Climate Protests on Political Speech
In a paper, I'm working on some co-authors, actually, it's just accepted at the British Journal of Political Science. We looked at the effect of climate protests on political speech. And we see that British politicians are more likely to discuss climate change on Twitter after these youth protests in their constituencies. So kind of excited to think more about ways that political mobilization can affect the sense of urgency that politicians face to act on this problem.
