The Imac - Steve's Next Big Breakthrough

Apple's first computer, the imac, came out in 1998. The blue seathrough case was designed to make it exciting but friendly and approachable. It sold 278 thousand machines in its first six weeks, and sells 800 million by the end of the year. Apple no longer had to worry about their survival because they were going to continue making computers.
