The Super Bowl Theory
The Super Bowl indicator was created by a gentleman named Leonard Copett back in the early 1970s. He noticed, gee, whenever a team from the old NFL, now in the NFC won the Super Bowl, the market went up. There were a couple of asterisk teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers which were original NFL teams are now in the AFL,. They were counted as if they were still in the NFC.
