The Effects of Fed Pivots on the Market

When the Fed pivots from a tightening scenario, it's usually not good. In fact, it tends to bottom the market. The one thing that was very consistent across the analysis is the market tends to bottom right around when they pivot. But those are the only three outcomes in the entire 15 bear market sample where there was a meaningful kind of delay to the market outcome. You know, obviously anything can happen when you look at it on a go for basis, but obviously the number of rule of investing is trying to assess probabilities and reassess probabilities"
