The First of All Our Emotions
Wondering is the first of all emotions. It gives rise to love, it gives rise to compassion. Were it not for wonder, we likely, psychologists surmise, would not have these other emotions. And a certain anthrop just like melvin connerd looke at even chimpansy behaviour as they stand in awe of and in wonder toward a waterfall. These experiences of wonder aren't to be the antidote, but they are a possible counter, a antidote, to our typical solutions in this world of hyper productivity.
