The Crowding Out Effect of Superhero Movies
There was an interesting debate recently started by Martin Scorsese, and he was lamenting that indie films are being replaced by massive corporate superhero films. I don't think it's a real danger, but people talk about the crowding out effect of superhero movies. There's so much originality going on that have nothing to do with superheroes that I think that it's not a valid worry anymore.
