How to Stop Stimming
Sedonia says we all have something, I believe, but the titles have stigmas attached. Sedonia: What can we do to de-stigmatize stimming behaviors? Not all stimming is bad and there are dangerous stims, including head banging and picking scabs. If you really find that it's a teacher or a therapist who just does not want to see it from an empowering the individual point of view, don't invest a lot of time in them.
