Three men, Father and his two sons, pushed the small craft onto the sand. They chatted about the latest happenings in their home village while they passed a boat builder near the beach. Three thousand years ago, these were the rhythms of life in Greece. The great palaces of the Mycenaean era had long since crumbled. In its place was a much different kind of world, a world of iron.
