Are You a Minority, Catering to the Majority?
We're forced into majority white spaces and are tired of having to explain ourselves over and over again. That's sort of the definition of life as a minority, catering to the majority. But that mode of speaking didn't always exist on people's personal social media pages. A part of the reason these online people explain Black culture to non-Black people is because it's the zeitgeist of today. The demand for its consumption is high.
