I would love to see more people in recovery visible, right? I had mentioned previously that the media tends to show people only in the throes of ediction. And am, i think only seeing people who are very ill in their ediction a contributes to the thought that people don't get better. It's not who they are as a person, but it is part of them.

"Addiction doesn't have to be a bummer!," quoth addictionologist Erin Parisi, who has some uplifting and hopeful tales from her professional life.
