The impact of that on the stock market is going to be very negative and we should expect to see a market much like was in the 1970s. The feds are going to keep the pressure on until inflation subsides and they're going to find that it's pretty hard to make it subsides because so much money's floating around. We will be in this condition of trying to walk a very narrow line for a very long time to get ourselves out of the inflation, he says.
