Getting a LOT of Functionality as a Standard Library

I would very much like to get a lot of functionality as a standard library, instead of having it just be attached on top of prototypes. I mean, the jobscript ecosystem has had a kind of upset t like the left padd the thing, right? Like someone removed the left pad function from n p m. A huge amount of sights broke because the package was just gone. And now, of course, we have, we have string padding, and it's part of the string prototype. But it would be a lot better if we had just kind of almost a bare bones string implementation. In the standard library we have padding, and begins withand and ends with and all those, all
