The Power of Data in Parenting

Emily Oster is an economist at brown university, and she loves data. She has become a best selling author by using data to create a kind of new genre in parenting books. So during the chaos of 20 20, emily had lots of questions about whether to send her own kids to school. But there was no research for her to dive into to try and make sense of the situation. So she and her team decided to collect the data from schools themselves.
