Are You Overthinking It?

Is there a right amount to be rigid about your habit and kind of like develop that flexibility? Or am i overthinking it? It's a great question, and i think the answer is that we don't know exactly what the sweet spot is. We did one big experiment with google employees where we had thousands of them randomly assigned to different experimental conditions to try to build an exercise habit. They ended up building more lasting habits after this period of training essentially ended.
