Discord Is a Great Platform for Creators and Creators

discord has now allowed subscription models for creator discords and that is like on the surface it's mainly so they can compete with twitch. It also opens up the platform for communities like let's say we wanted to go create our own so rare community of only so rare players but we don't want to be affiliated with them. We could raise funds from the community strictly through just discord subscriptions because discord's only taken a 10% cut of that which i think is much better than twitch. You are letting communities self-built communities develop their own funding model  to me even if that's not a web three thing that discord is doing. I'm really curious to see these like social media platforms
