The Impersonal God
The origin of the new age or higher consciousness community seems to be running from a threatening God. And so if you can reshape God into something that's impersonal, then that we're more easily able to accept God than just outright rejecting the fact there could even be a God. Made God into something impersonal so that we can accept him, which feels like a step forward but it's not exactly what the Course is talking about.
