The 1975 - What's the Beginning Point?

This album was easy in the end after it was fucking difficult, because when we went, let's do an impression of the 1975, we had so many foundational bits. It became easy to like know who we are. And that all comes from zine culture and literature and movies and seany stuff. I think going back to what Matt you said earlier it's like a distillation of everything we've ever done is certainly what we wanted to achieve but the way for that to still maintain a good element of evolution was by creating this intimate environment.
