The Four Basic Forms of Life
The doctrine of life states, the universe is alive. The creatures of the earth, plants, animals, human beings are alive. Correspondingly, there are cosmic planetary and organist, ismic individual life forms. For Clargas, life has a relationship with feeling furlan - in German it's like an engagement with life. It begets a certainty for Clargas of being alive. And to not have that biocentrism within life is to head off into the plague.
