Embedded in the Human Brain, Is This Really Important?
I'm thinking about the field in general. I think a layer fterma is extremely valuable thourh narrow science, and is going to advance not just narrow science, but also medical applications. The idea that input and output patterns upper and lower layers, seems like it needs to be everywhere in the brain for us to best interpret layer activity the rest of the brain. For this, we need to wait for the monkey studies to come out. Do we need to? Or can we do what i'm what i was very hopeful about, potentially, is that we can do in vivo with em or i histology and and sort of characterized the cell types throughout the brain?"
