In the past few years, per capita meat consumption has increased every single year. The jobs making these meat substitutes are better and safer than jobs in slaughter houses. But it doesn't seem like their necessarily replacing a meat hamburger with a plant baste burger. So maybe they're just choosing an impossible burgher when otherwise they might in a salad dad said.
