What's the Whole Point of the Walking Dead?

Rite: Monsters are like hermanutically plastic. They have a kind of flexibility in them that give the fears of a given cultural moment. We talk about things like ramero dombe movies of the seventies and the, the countercultural and actually quite leftest critique of consumerism verses something like the walking dead. You know, this kind of just foul tasting, cynical, reactionary show that kind of fatichizes its own despair is profoundly fitting for the broader cultural condition from which with which it emerges.
