Military Exercises - How Helpful to the Chinese?
This is the first large public exercise by a command under te called eastern theatre command, which was stood up xyears ago. It didn't have any scale. If china were going to do a real blockade or quarantine of tywan, it would primarily fall on the navy and the coast guard. And we saw very limited naval involvement in these drills last week,. So it wasn't a rehearsal for the real thing.
