The Different Types of Headache in a CVT
It's a difficult diagnosis to suspect. Oftentimes these patients have had multiple ER visits. Seizures, although uncommon overall in initial presentations, are more frequent in CVT than any other cerebrovascular disorder. Motor weakness is the most observed deficit. Cerebrovoleredema, venous infarction, and hemorrhagic infarction are associated with more severe conditions.
