A significant award would incentivize any number of other plaintiffs to want to give a hard look at whether they've got a case. The judge ruled this week that a dominion cannot bring up the insurrection that is not relevant to this case, even though you can draw a direct line from the lies that were on Fox News to the actions on January 6. He said economics are relevant. And that's very interesting because the profit motive here in airing these is pretty clear from the statements we've seen of the Fox News people internally. They seem to know exactly what they were doing and why they were doing it, which to me is a very good piece of evidence for actual malice.
