Are We Going to Have This Conversation Again in Six Months?
Putin has banked on trying to get some sort of result quite quickly. He's thrown everything possible since September, when I think they have the big Ukrainian breakthroughs and it really looked like the Russian position was wobbling. None of this is really going that wealthy, they certainly hold the Ukrainians up and made life miserable for Ukrainians. So I think questions are going to have to be asked in Moscow about how long this can be sustained equally if battle lines look more or less as they are at the moment.
