The Downside of Disney's Culture Wars
Disney has been a non-political brand for a long time. And every time First Chapak and now Iger gets into the headlines, that potentially is another conservative Disney person that says, woke is broke. We don't want to support this woke corporation. If it's 2024 and Disney's Wokism is a key campaign issue, then Disney is inserted into the presidential election in a way that probably would hurt the brand. It all goes back to the way Chepeck handled it initially where he sort of got shamed by his own employees into taking a position on DeSantis' bill.
