The Role of Antibiotics in Preterm Birth Prevention
Cervical pessary use in non-laboring individuals with a singleton gestation did not decrease the risk of preterm birth. Fetal or neonatal infant death occurred more frequently in those receiving a pessary than those receiving usual care. The third original article is another randomized trial titled, Identifying Children Likely to Benefit from Antibiotics for Acute Signusitis.
