The Monarch in Wizard of Oz

Elle Frank Baum's mother in law was Matilda Jazling gauge. She helped rewrite the women's Bible, which if you don't know is a completely blasphemous and heretical gender neutral take on the first five books of the Old Testament. So I thought just, wow, that combination of this lead character, the actress that they chose. Janelle Monet is also gender fluid, pansexual, all the things... But what's weird is like I've seen so many films with monarch references that are, that make more sense than this.
