The Advantages of Multi Signature Hardware Wallets
Low cost hardware wallets may not have the secure element that some of them. But you could theoretically make an argument as to how having multi signature, even with cheaper devices distributed into different locations, might actually be more secure than using a single signature device. Multi sig is a mix of different code bases and hardware manufactures and maybe even signing protocols so that if one particular platform fails because of vulnerability, the rest of your cosigners arere unaffected.
