Is There a Concept of Mortality?

I think that for people who have faith, whether some one is a christian or jewish or islamick or so on, there is a concept of mortality. People were acting as if prior to 20 20 nobody used to die. And i mean, yes, every everyone's life matters. Nobody wants ther their parent, their grandparent, or whatever, to ever die really.
