ADHD - What Can We Do About It?
Our internal narratives can often be negative for the reasons I just mentioned. And if we don't pay attention to them, our minds will take them as truth. So what can we do to combat this negative self talk? grounding yourself means doing something that will bring your awareness out of your head and back into your body. That gives your brain a chance to switch into a more constructive thought process. When we're in that headspace, we're able to deal with whatever's happening around us.
