Is There a Political Conflict Between Mitch McConnell and Nancy Pelosi?

I think there's an absolutely stark conflict between two fundamentally incompatible visions for what this country should be. I encourage everyone to every now and then go look at what the conservative discourse is like, not in the New York Times, but in those conservative spaces. There's nothing insidious sinister cunning going on there. They're saying they're just being very clear. It's clear as you can be. We don't want this. And we're going to mobilize the coercive power of the state to impose our will on all of you. The US is trying to deal with that right now by basically allowing blue states to go forward and allow red states to go backward. That's not a tenable solution
