Is It Dangerous to Try to Communicate With Aliens?

Is it a good idea for aliens to know that we are here? Ye, because you might be alerting dangerous aliens to our presence. Or you might accidentally say something offensive to spark and interstellar war. Sometimes just staying quiet is the best approach,.
