Midsomer
Midsomer does feel kind of like the antithesis of a what should feel scary. There is some aspect to it that just feels kind of funny. It's not moody in the sense that a movie like Halloween or the Exorcist or even the Shining is moody. The film has some interesting stuff to say especially about depictions of grief, relationship issues and cultural reflection going on but I'm also not sure if this genre is the right place to explore it.
